Every social, commercial, and civic interaction within the Braai Network is governed by constitutional rights, clear responsibilities, and transparent processes that promote human dignity, lawful participation, and community flourishing.

Braai rejects the predatory mechanics of traditional ad-supported social networks. We enforce zero surveillance capitalism, zero infinite scroll manipulation, and zero artificial amplification of anger or outrage.

2. The Three Constitutional Life Domains

• Social Life Domain: Sovereign cryptographic profiles, private messaging, media sharing, youth learning circles, and verified dating.
• Economic Life Domain: Neighborhood artisan marketplaces, in-person Point of Sale (POS) trading, transparent group buying, and micro-merchant commerce.
• Civic Life Domain: Community gatherings, Stokvel savings groups, civic associations, democratic governance proposals, and cryptographic polling.

3. Zero-Tolerance Constitutional Invariants

Participation in any domain requires absolute adherence to six zero-tolerance duties. Violation results in immediate cryptographic credential revocation, asset quarantine, and law enforcement referral:

4. Commercial Conduct & Merchant Fair-Trading Rules

• Authentic Goods & Accurate Representation: Listings must accurately reflect origin, ingredients, certification, and actual condition. Counterfeit goods are strictly prohibited.
• Anti-Review-Falsification: Fake reviews, astroturfing, and paid reputation manipulation result in immediate merchant store suspension.
• Statutory Consumer Rights: Merchants must respect consumer statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA 68 of 2008) and local consumer statutes.

5. Algorithmic Transparency & Democratic Due Process

• On-Device Flame Filter: Content analysis runs privately on edge devices to filter harassment and predatory threats without centralized surveillance.
• Zero Shadowbanning: Content moderation is deterministic. If content is restricted or removed, the author receives an explicit, human-readable notification detailing the specific rule violated.
• Right to Democratic Appeal: Any account suspension or listing de-indexation may be appealed to the Technical Architecture Council and peer-elected Community Juries for independent review.
